PCP Test Kit - Accurate Detection of Phencyclidine
Phencyclidine (PCP) is a powerful dissociative drug that poses serious risks when unknowingly consumed. Our test kit allows you to detect PCP in various substances quickly and easily, helping you stay safe and avoid unexpected exposure.
What is PCP (Phencyclidine)?
Understanding PCP and Its Risks
PCP, also known as "angel dust," is a dissociative drug that can lead to hallucinations, delusions, and extreme behavioral changes. Originally developed as an anesthetic, it is now illegal in most places but continues to appear in illicit drug markets. The effects of PCP can be highly unpredictable, and even small amounts can cause dangerous reactions, including violence, self-harm, and respiratory depression.
Why You Need a PCP Test Kit
If you're using substances from unregulated sources, there's always a risk they could be contaminated with PCP. Testing your substances with a PCP Test Kit can:
- Prevent dangerous side effects by identifying PCP in drugs.
- Help users avoid unexpected and harmful reactions.
- Confirm the identity of PCP in unknown pill if PCP is the intended recreational drug.
- Provide peace of mind in knowing what’s actually in your substance, empowering safer decision-making.
How to Use the PCP Test Kit
Step-by-Step Instructions
Using our test kit is simple, and following these steps will give you the most accurate results:
- Knock the unopened ampoule several times against a hard surface, so the granules, which may be sticking to the inside of the ampoule wall, fall downwards.
- Take the top of the ampoule between the thumb and index finger, and snap off the top with the ampoule breaker.
- Use the spatula to insert the suspect material (approximately 20 mg) into the ampoule. Make sure the powder does not contain any lumps, as this might influence the result of the test.
- Use the spatula to stir the solution well for about 10 seconds. Make sure not to leave the spatula in the ampoule because it will melt in the ampoule. Let it stand for about 5 minutes because the colour will darken slowly.
- Carefully shake the ampoule for 5 seconds to make the colour homogenous. Compare the colour from the reagent with the colour line printed on the ampoule.
- After use, dispose the ampoules in the trash or glass bin.
Interpreting the Results
After adding the substance to the reagent, the color will change, indicating the presence or absence of PCP. Here's how to interpret your test results:
- Blue: PCP is present in the substance.
- No reaction: If no colour change occurs or the colour matches the negative part of the chart, no PCP is detected.
- Invalid Result: If the reaction is unclear or doesn’t match any of the color indicators, repeat the test with a new sample to ensure accuracy.
Tips for Accurate Testing
To achieve the most reliable results:
- Avoid contamination: With our ampoule design and included spatula, you ensure the test is being completed in a clean container and utensils to prevent interferences.
- Perform the test in a well-lit area for easier interpretation of color changes.
